Rates & Insurance
If you have insurance, your fee will be based on the contracted rate from your insurance company for in-network or out-of-network benefits. Services may be covered in full or in part by your plan. I accept some insurance plans, out-of-network insurance benefits, and self-pay.
I am an in-network provider with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, which means insurance will pay a percentage of the session fee and you are only responsible for the copay or coinsurance, when it applies.
For self-pay I utilize a sliding scale model, please read below for additional information. I accept PayPal, Venmo, and debit/credit card payments to facilitate self-pay and copayments.
Pricing for Self-Pay Clients
There are three different types of contribution levels available to clients who are seeking to pay out of pocket. Please feel free to explore the different levels and contact me with any questions.
Full Contribution Level
$130.00 per 60 minute session
I utilize a pay scale system that seeks to account for the economic reality and financial needs of each client. For clients with access to financial resources (ex.Individuals who feel a high-level of financial security and ready access to disposable income, residing in a middle or upper class home, receiving support from a middle upper class home, or receiving some other form of significant financial assistance) contribute the full session payment, which is $130 per session. This practice allows me to provide sessions at reduced cost to clients who are experiencing financial marginalization or impact. Within our society access to mental health support is a often a privilege and this system is an attempt to challenge, in a small way, the inequity in accessing care.
Support Contribution Level
$80.00 per 60 minute session
I am able to provide a limited number of session that are available at the Support Contribution Level. For clients who wish to sign-up and contribute a single payment for the entire month the following rates are available. $150.00 for two 60 minute sessions per month or $290.00 for four 60 minute sessions per month.
Relief Contribution Level
Average rate of $40.00 per 60 minute session
I am able to provide a limited number of sessions that are available at the Relief Contribution Level. The Relief Level is reserved for individuals who are uninsured or are unable to access insurance due to extenuating circumstances. Relief contribution levels can be adjusted to accommodate individual needs. Please contact me directly with questions or to see if relief sessions are currently available.
